New Year, New Goals

Wooooooow o ano passado foi num piscar de olhos!

Isso é muito bom, pois é tempo de mudar, pra coisas novas! Agora tenho novas metas e repensei em coisas em minha mente.

2010 foi um ano em que me perdi com minha identidade como artista conceitual, não tive tempo de focr na minha arte e descobri que não devo fazer o trabalho do artista de cenário, o colorista, o designer de mecânica, o designer de armas... Eu devo focar em uma especialidade, a qual eu descobri que é Design de Personagens! Bom, agora sei que sou Designer de Personagens.

Woooaaaah last year just passed at a blink!( if it`s the correct way to say)

That`s awesome, because this is time for change, for something new! And now I have new goals and I had things in my mind reviewed.

2010 was the year that I was lost with my identity as a concept artist, I couldn`t manage my time to focus my art, and I discovered that I`m not supposed to do the job of the enviro artist, the colorist, the mecha designer, the weapon designer.... I`m supposed to focus on one specialty, which I found to be Character Designing! Well, Now I am a character designer.

Estou despreocupado com a atualização do blog, tudo a seu tempo. Atualizarei quando tiver novidades e coisas boas pra mostrar.

Estou começando a fazer um freelance para um Studio de Seattle. O job é para uma grande empresa de superheróis, é o que posso dizer... Espero ter vários personagens pra fazer!

I`m not worried at all with the update here, everything in its time. I`ll update when I get news and nice stuff to show.

I`m starting a freelance for a Studio based in Seattle. The job is for a big superhero company, thats what I`m allowed to say... I hope to get many characters to do!

A lot of great things happened these past weeks! One of them was to shake hands with Bobby Chiu, Kei Acedera and Jason Manley! TOP artists in the film and games industry!

At the moment, I`m studying and developing a portfolio to get a scholarship at The Art Department for 2011. Meanwhile, I still get freelances and now something new: i`m broadcasting my process of painting through Livestream!

Estou trabalhando na equipe de animação pra Spray Filmes e estamos fazendo 3 animações bem interessantes! Ainda não tenho permissão pra mostrar material sobre o documentário da Spray, mas tenho aqui um storyboard preliminar para o Homo Habilis Studio, na Rússia, um freelance meu.

Frankenstein Process

Poutz, preciso atualizar mais vezes o blog... Mas tá faltando tempo, já que to trabalhando full-time agora. Aliás, estou gostando cada vez mais de animação. Estou num projeto de 3 animações para um documentário que está sendo dirigido pelo Fernando Andrade, e está ficando ótimo! Esperem o ano que vem... Esse filme promete muito.

Aí vai uma pintura que fiz há alguns meses, mostrando seu passo-a-passo.

I gotta update this mor often... But now that I am working full-time, i don`t have much time. By the way, I `m enjoying even more animation. I`m in a project of 3 animation films for a Documentary which is been directed by Fernando Andrade, and its turning out great! Wait for next year... This film you blow you mind.
